Our Position
Wizzlethorpe Labs builds tools that use AI to enhance tabletop gaming experiences. We believe AI should complement human creativity, not replace it.
Our tools are designed for personal use in home games—quick visualizations, concept exploration, and campaign enhancement. They're not intended to replace professional artists for published work, commercial projects, or commissions.
What We Don't Do
- Position AI as a replacement for professional artists
- Allow style mimicry or artist name usage in prompts
- Encourage selling AI-generated content as standalone art
- Claim AI output is human-created artwork
When to Hire an Artist
We encourage hiring professional artists for:
- Published content, books, and commercial games
- Character commissions and polished artwork
- Streaming shows and monetized content
- Cover art and promotional material
- Anything you plan to sell or license
